Shaquille O’Neal is still maintaining that the Toronto Raptors will be swept by the Philadelphia 76ers although he now believes it may be in seven games instead of four.
“I know I told you that Toronto was getting swept and that you should write it down, and I do still believe that but I think it may take a few more games than I initially thought,” he told viewers on his TNT show on Monday night.
The Raptors were down 3-0 in the series but have since come storming back to make it 3-2 with all the momentum with the Raptors coming back home.
“You know the series is now 3-2 which is what 5 or 6 games?” Shaq asked his co-host, Charles Barkley. ” That still leaves the 76er’s a few more games to complete the sweep. It’s going to happen, write it down again!”
He eventually backtracked saying that Toronto may in fact win this series, but for real, they are getting swept in the second round. Barkley reminded viewers that if you write down anything Shaq tells you to, you should use some sort of erasable writing instrument such as a pencil or marker board. Game 6 goes Thursday night at 7 PM or as Shaq says, when the big hand points to the 7.
